Strengths

Action Sequences: Impressive stunts and thrilling action scenes that stand out.
Cinematography: Slick direction and effective cinematography, especially in action scenes.

Flaws

Chaotic Narrative: The film shifts focus too heavily on action at the expense of plot coherence.
Repetitive Story: Satya’s struggle with law enforcement grows predictable and tiresome.
Unnecessary Parallel Plot: The prison break subplot adds complexity but fails to enhance the main story.

Character Development

Aspect	Details
Title	Jigra
Director	Vasan Bala
Genre	Thriller, Action, Drama
Main Cast	- Alia Bhatt as Satya - Vedang Raina as Ankur - Manoj Pahwa as Bhatia - Rahul Ravindran as Muthu
Plot Overview	Satya embarks on a mission to free her brother, Ankur, wrongfully sentenced to death in a Southeast Asian prison. She teams up with a retired gangster and an ex-cop to break him out.

Storytelling

The script is action-heavy, at the cost of meaningful character development. The plot becomes one-dimensional, and the parallel prison break subplot is unnecessarily complicated, failing to add anything substantial to the main narrative.

Pacing

The pacing is uneven, with thrilling action scenes that disrupt the narrative flow. Some sequences drag on, making the film feel more like a showcase for stunts than a cohesive drama.

Action Sequences

Character	Development
Satya	A resilient and vengeful character, portrayed intensely by Alia Bhatt. However, her emotional depth is overshadowed by action-driven plot elements.
Ankur	Vedang Raina's Ankur remains passive, with limited emotional development despite the film's central focus on Satya's mission.
Bhatia	Manoj Pahwa adds gravitas to the supporting cast, delivering a solid performance as the retired gangster who assists Satya.

Cinematography

Swapnil S Sonawane’s cinematography enhances the film, particularly in its action scenes. The use of tight framing and dynamic shots elevates the intensity of the moments, immersing viewers in the high-stakes action.

Overall Verdict

Jigra shows great potential with its action sequences and Alia Bhatt's performance but falters due to its chaotic storytelling and overemphasis on stunts. The lack of emotional depth and coherence in the narrative undermines its impact, making it a thrilling but ultimately unsatisfying experience. Fans of action films might enjoy the spectacle, but the lack of strong character development and a clear storyline leaves much to be desired.
